Black footed Albatross

  The Black-footed Albatross nests primarily in the Hawaian Islands, it forages in Alaskan waters during the summer months.  Nonbreeders may remain in Alaska throughout the year and breeding birds also journey as far as Alaska to find food for their young (a flight of greater than 5000 miles roundtrip)
